I'm participating in AutoCrit's Novel 90 challenge. I'm a lifetime member. I had something of a love-hate relationship with NaNoWriMo. I'm a perfectionist, so I'd get very angry with myself if I didn't hit 50,000 words. This year has been rough with my mother dying, losing my 21-year-old cat grandson, and all the medical stuff in my household between me, my son, and his dad. So, I'm not going to force myself to do a specific word count. I've had trouble finishing projects this year, so I'm trying to be kinder to myself than usual and just concentrate on finishing things, no matter how short or long and no matter how long it takes. I just write something every day.
Also, my squirrel brain will not allow me to work on only one project. I have a fiction project (or two or five) and a non-fiction project that focuses on recovery from trauma using poetry and art.
I love Kate's candy corn bat squishmallow thing! I want one!

Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do with my Substack. I've never gained much traction there and it's kind of a pain in the ass having to look after more than one blog.
Ornery Owl Has Spoken
Google is stupid. It's telling me I need to log in to access my account. However, I'm already logged in.
???????
Stupid Google!

I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
