Blurb:

Twelve-year-old Alex may have lost his ability to play sports, but he gained the ability to see ghosts. Now he must figure out how to put a malevolent spirit to rest -- or die trying.

Once an athlete and popular kid, Alex is in a terrible car accident that severely injures his hip and leaves him with a rare power: he can hear and see ghosts. All Alex wants is to be normal. But when a vicious spirit begins haunting him, Alex must accept his unwanted psychic powers and work with his best friend and his paranormal investigator cousin to solve the mystery of bones in the wall and put the ghosts in the house to rest. If he fails, he’ll lose his family and friends to a gruesome fate.

Ghost Hunters: Bones in the Wall is the first novel in the heart-pounding Ghost Hunters middle-grade horror series.

The First Line/Book Beginnings

Morning mist clung to the ghostball field like spiderwebs.

The Friday 56

Note: I am reading from an ARC copy and am taking my excerpt from page 56. The text at the 56% mark in an e-reader may differ.

Back at my old school, a few kids got it, and so did some of my teachers,
even if they thought I was weird.

Book Blogger Hop
23rd - 29th - Have you ever reread a book? If so, why did you decide to reread it? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
A couple of years ago I reread Animal Farm. Eh, not quite. I actually listened to Animal farm. You can read my thoughts on the book at the following link.

I then went on a listening binge of George Orwell's books. An Orwell rabbit hole is always thought-provoking.

I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
