This psychological thriller is somewhat contrived but well-crafted. It offers a good depiction of what the distressing phenomenon of limerence looks like. The romantic scenes are tastefully done, never slipping into softcore porn territory.
The movie was overall enjoyable, although more than once I found myself thinking "every one of these people really needs to grow up before they even consider getting into a relationship." I sometimes wondered when the Bad Idea Bears were going to pop up.
